A number of new research projects are commissioned every year by Transport Analytical Services and Road Safety Scotland. This section lists the projects to be commissioned in the current financial year as well as areas identified for future research & evaluation.
Review of Crash Magnets
This review has been commissioned to identify the extent to which the resource is being used and delivered in Secondary schools, as well as the provision of training and/or promotion offered by Road Safety Officers at local level. To gain information on the relevance of the material, there will be interviews with teachers on the content of the resource and the learning approaches that Crash Magnets adopts, and young person focus groups held to capture their level of engagement with the resource.
