The remit of the forum is:
- To ensure the overall achievement of the aims and objectives of Road Safety Scotland.
- To approve and oversee the preparation and implementation of the Road Safety Scotland business plan.
- To provide a platform for the presentation of information regarding campaign activities, specifically those undertaken by the Executive Committee and the two sub-committees.
- To elect sub-committee/committee members as appropriate.
